Documentation, Dissemination and Advocacy

This Department facilitates the documentation and dissemination of research findings to make them accessible to all end-users. The Department ensures access to research information within the GHS and facilitate dissemination of new findings.
In addition, the department coordinates availability and use of health information including research and routine information for the advancement of policy process and programme priority setting.
The Department is also responsible for ensuring interactions and connectedness at all levels through the use of new information technologies.

Qualification: MD (Piragov’s Vinnitsa Medical Institute, Ukraine), MPH (University of Ghana), PhD in Public Health (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK), FGCPS

Position/designation: Public Health Specialist/Deputy Director (Documentation, Dissemination & Advocacy)

Expertise: Public Health, Operations Research, Qualitative Methods, Epidemiology

Area of Interest: Sexual and Reproductive Health Research with special interest in Family Planning
